41. Money Post

For the assignment involving doing something creative with money, I decided to make origami with a dollar. I did not want to cut up money because I’m a relatively frugal person and don’t like the idea of destroying it as a dollar can be used for things like snacks, water and soda.

I chose to make origami because it was something that I always wanted to try. My hands are not the most dexterous in terms of folding with precision, so I never really attempted to try origami before.

I originally started with trying to make a crane by following instructions that I found online, but I got lost about halfway through and decided to improvise. I ended up making what I think is actually a decent spaceship that is semi-inspired by the cruisers in star wars.

Although I didn’t accomplish my initial goal of making an origami crane, I’m proud of myself for improvising and creating something unique.
