47. Cool Sport Idea

I think that baseball would be cooler if everybody on the field had bats as they played and players were able to use it for whatever they wanted to, especially hitting their opponents. Sure, it would make the sport really dangerous, but it would also be really funny and exciting.

Imagine this: A batter hits a single and brings his bat with him as he rounds the bases. He makes it past first as the ball hasn’t arrived yet, but once he gets to second, the second baseman is there, waiting to tag him out. Instead of trying to run back to first, the batter engages the second baseman in a sword-fight with bats, trying to strike him in a way that allows him to reach second base without getting tagged.

After the two players clash bats for a few moments, the batter gets the second baseman in the knee. The defender collapses in pain and the batter jogs through and is safe at second base.
