I’ll be finished with my sophomore year of college in about three weeks. It’s crazy to think that I’m already half-way done with college, it seems like these past two years have gone by faster than my senior year of high school. The thought of time going by so quickly scares me. I honestly can’t believe I’m 20-years old. I still remember my first day of kindergarten, which was about 15 years ago. It sort of feels like it was just yesterday. Does that mean I’ll be 35-years-old tomorrow?
It feels like time is slipping away from me, like it’s moving too fast. I’m going try to savor each moment and try to appreciate every second I have, especially while I’m young. Here is a list of things that I will try to do from now on:
- Spend more time with my family and friends.
- Play less video games and spend less time on the internet.
- Spend more time in nature and the outdoors.
- Try to keep some sort of a journal so I can remember each day.
- Try to do something impactful on the world each day, whether it’s picking up a piece of trash or discovering the cure for cancer.
Looking back on my blog, I’m really glad I made this because it has captured some of my creative work and random thoughts that I’ve had throughout the course of the semester. Maybe I’ll try to continue this blog after the semester, not for other people to look at, but for myself so that I’ll have records and memories of certain events and time periods throughout my life.
